Called BS on that 'use brown paper bags' tip for Quake texture making
Old thread from '04 said to scan crumpled grocery bags for rust textures. Tried it this weekend and it actually gives that perfect gritty metal look, way better than any filter I found. Made my whole E1M2 replacement pop. Anyone else got weird real-world texture sources that worked?
