Spilled a whole 5-gallon fryer oil during brunch service
Last Sunday at the diner, I dropped the filter bag right as I was draining the fryer. Hot oil went everywhere across the tile floor in back. Had to shut down the fry station for 45 minutes and mop with degreaser three times before the line was safe. Anyone else had a grease spill that killed your whole morning?

Man those small kitchen decisions like grabbing a filter bag wrong or taking one shortcut can domino into a whole shift getting wrecked. It's funny how one tiny mistake in the middle of a rush just snowballs and reminds you that every little step matters more than you think.
