Why does every taco truck in Austin charge $7 now for what used to be a $3 street taco
I moved here 4 years ago and could get 4 al pastor tacos for $8 at the truck on East Riverside, now that same order runs me almost $20. The weird part is the truck that still charges $3.50 is always empty while the $7 ones have a line down the block. Am I missing something about how people pick their taco spots or is it just hype?
