Tried Aldi frozen pizza versus my local shop's $3 slice and honestly it wasn't even close
The Aldi one cost $2.50 for the whole pie but the crust tasted like cardboard, while Tony's down on 5th sells a fresh slice for $3 that actually fills you up, so I'm never going back to the freezer aisle. Anyone else got a spot where paying that extra dollar is totally worth it?
Have you ever looked at the ingredient list on one of those cheap frozen pies? I made the mistake once and it read like a science project. The crust on the Aldi one isn't even bread, it's more like the box it came in got wet and baked. Tony's slice probably costs him more in cheese alone than Aldi spends on the whole pizza. Give me the fresh slice every time, even if my wallet complains.
