I was paying $9 for a lunch burrito two blocks from a spot charging $4.50 for the same thing
Went to that spot near the courthouse on Maple for almost a year. Line out the door, foil wrapping, the works. Then my card got declined and I walked down the block to kill time before my shift and saw a little counter inside a Mexican grocery doing burritos for $4.50. Same size. Better rice, honestly.
The tip off? A guy in a work vest ahead of me in line at the expensive place kept saying he was grabbing food before heading to the grocery. Took me three visits to catch on. I'm not proud of it.
So what else am I missing because I just go where it's obvious? Drop your "no sign, no menu online" spots if you've got them.
