TIL you can fix a dead laptop keyboard by unplugging the ribbon cable and plugging it back in, took me 2 tries and 0 dollars
My 2019 Dell stopped typing the letter E for a whole week, and a guy on a forum in Ohio swore it was just a loose ribbon connection, so I opened it up, reseated that little flat cable, and it has worked for 3 weeks straight, so what else in my house is just a loose cable away from working again?
