Spent 6 hours chasing a boot loop that was just a loose RAM stick

Everyone says check the RAM first when a PC won't boot, but I kept assuming it was a driver issue from a recent update. I pulled the CPU cooler, reseated the graphics card, even reflashed the BIOS on my old B450 board. Finally on a whim I pushed down on the RAM and it clicked into place. Has anyone else had a fix that took way longer than it should have because you overthought the obvious?

Saw a Linus Tech Tips video where one of their guys spent two days debugging a no-post only to find a single bent pin on the CPU. It's like we all learn this lesson the hard way, thinking the problem has to be complicated when it's usually the simplest thing. The RAM click is the universal "I should have just checked this first" moment.

Oh man, @nancy275 that reminds me of my buddy who rebuilt his whole rig before realizing he forgot the CPU power cable.
