My cat knocked over a tower fan into my custom loop PC in Tulsa

So I'm sitting in my living room in Tulsa last Tuesday, drinking coffee, when my cat Mochi decides to launch herself off the bookshelf and lands right on my tower fan. That fan goes flying into my PC desk, knocks the side panel off, and sends my whole custom loop toppling sideways. The pump started making this grinding noise like it was chewing rocks, and I figured I'd have to drop $200 at a shop. Instead, I took the pump apart, found a tiny piece of plastic stuck in the impeller from the fan blade that broke off, cleaned it out with a toothpick and some rubbing alcohol, and it's been running quiet for 4 days now. Has anyone else had a pet cause a weird computer disaster you fixed with stuff from the kitchen?

Three minutes in the rice bag fixed mine, @rowan666. Just make sure it's not the instant kind, that stuff gets powdery and makes it worse.
