Tried a power stretcher over a knee kicker on a 20-foot bedroom run and wow

Been using a knee kicker for years on residential jobs. This morning I borrowed a buddy's power stretcher for a big master bedroom in Arlington. The difference was night and day - no re-stretching after 10 minutes, and the seam came out perfectly flat. Has anyone else made the switch for bigger rooms and regretted not doing it sooner?

Once you go power stretcher, you never go back.

12 foot seams always gave me trouble with a knee kicker until I borrowed a power stretcher for a custom job in McLean, and like @karenw90 said, once you try it the old way feels broken. The real game changer for me was how the power stretcher kept tension consistent across the entire 20 foot run without me having to crawl back and fix dips every few minutes. Have you tried it on a patterned carpet yet where matching the repeat matters?
