Took me 8 years to realize I was stretching carpet wrong
Pulled a hallway in a 3,000 sq ft house in Nashville last Tuesday and the backing started rippling because I was stretching from the wrong wall. Anyone else figure out they've been doing a basic thing backward this whole time?

3000 square feet and you found out the hard way" - man, that reminds me of a buddy who spent five years installing tile before someone told him he was backbuttering wrong the entire time. He said he felt like an idiot but at least the jobs always held up.
