Tack strip teeth poked through a fresh Berber in Boise and I had to fix it fast
Was stretching a Berber in a rental off Vista Ave in Boise and the tack strip teeth poked right through the backing near the doorway. I grabbed my knee kicker and tried to work it back, but that just made a bigger mess so I cut a patch from the closet. Took me 2 hours and you can barely see it now, but the landlord still docked me $75. Any of you got a trick for tack strip that won't grab without tearing the backing?
