Pro tip: Don't let the builder talk you into stretching over wet slab
Was on a job in Mesa last week and heard the GC tell his guy the pad would dry by Friday, so just lay it. You know the rest, seams popped loose in three rooms within days because that moisture came right up through. I walked off that one and lost the day, but the callback on the other crew wasn't worth any paycheck. If a builder pushes you to stretch over green concrete, what do you say to cover yourself?
