Old power stretcher finally gave out on a job in Tacoma

My 20 year old power stretcher snapped a tooth on the plate mid-pull last Tuesday, right in the middle of a living room install. Had to rig a manual knee kicker for the rest of that 12x14 room, took twice as long. Anyone else had a frame just break after years of abuse, or is it worth rebuilding the head instead of buying new?

Man, I gotta disagree with you there. Twenty years of hard pulls and that frame owes you nothing, a new head on old rails is just gonna flex and break somewhere else.
