Hit 1,000 yards of carpet installed this year already

I was adding up my invoices from January to now and the total came out to 1,000 yards exactly. That's a big jump from last year at this time, when I was only at about 750 yards. I think it's because more folks in my area are choosing carpet again for bedrooms and basements. It feels good to see the work add up like that. Has anyone else seen a change in how much carpet they're putting down lately?

That's a solid number for the year so far. The basement jobs are definitely keeping us busy too, especially with a good moisture barrier under the pad. It just locks in the warmth and keeps everything feeling dry.

Funny you mention that, my neighbor just had his whole basement done in that really thick, soft carpet. Said he got tired of the cold concrete floor for his kids to play on. He was showing me the sample, stuff felt like walking on a cloud. Makes sense though, basements are always the first place to feel that damp chill.
