Can we talk about the carpet padding in that new hotel off I-95 near Richmond?

I walked into the lobby last Thursday and the padding felt like cheap foam under $10 a yard carpet, how do they expect that to hold up for more than 6 months without flattening out?

Found some decent padding at a local flooring supply place that actually held up.

Totally agree with you, that padding felt like it would give out in a few months tops. Gotta say @lewis.diana is right about finding decent padding at a local supply spot, that's usually the way to go over hotel-grade stuff. Really feels like they cut corners hard on that lobby.
