Wasted $400 on a cheap finger jointer that couldn't cut a straight line

Bought a no-name finger jointer off Amazon last spring and after three attempts to adjust it I realized the fence was warped and the blades wobbled so bad I blew through two boards in ten minutes has anyone else had to just eat the cost on a tool like that?

Did the reviews on Amazon not mention how bad the fence was? I learned my lesson buying a planer from a sketchy brand and ended up tossing it in the trash after a weekend lol.

Did you ever try returning it through Amazon's easy policy instead of just tossing it?
