Switched my view on cordless nailers after framing with a buddy
I always thought battery-powered framing nailers were too heavy and weak compared to pneumatic, but last month I helped a friend in Spokane frame a garage and he let me borrow his DeWalt 30-degree. It drove 3-inch nails into LVL without a hiccup and saved us dragging a hose around for two days. Has anyone else here been converted to cordless for serious framing work?

Haven't you found the cordless ones make long days way less of a pain?

Man @jesse84 must live a different life than me because cordless just means more batteries to swap out halfway through a job. Tried one of those fancy battery units last summer and spent more time waiting for it to charge than actually cleaning anything. By the time that third battery died I was ready to chuck the whole thing into the lake. Miss me with that wireless hype.
