Miter saw blade exploded on a routine cut in Tulsa this morning

I was trimming out a door frame at a house off Route 66 when the damn 60 tooth blade shattered on some hidden nail in the jamb. Shrapnel hit my safety glasses hard enough to leave a scratch, thank god I had them on. Customer stood there asking if I'd ever seen that happen before, and I just handed him the mangled arbor and said no. Anyone else had a blade blow up on hidden metal after years of clean cuts?

Wait, that blade was a 60 tooth and it just gave up like that? Crazy luck you had the glasses on, that scratch is honestly a badge of honor.
