Why does nobody talk about the hidden resume section on LinkedIn Jobs?

I was scrolling through a job posting for a warehouse supervisor role in Phoenix last night and accidentally clicked this tiny filter called 'applicant insights'. It actually shows you the exact education level and years of experience of other applicants who applied. Blew my mind because I had no idea that data was just sitting there. Has anyone else used this to decide if they even have a shot at a role?

Right clicked that filter like I was defusing a bomb and saw 47 people with 8+ years of warehouse management experience applied. I have 2 years of seasonal work at Target and a certification I got off Groupon. At least now I can confidently skip straight to the "no match" rejection and save myself the anxiety.

So you're just supposed to give up before you even try? Look man, I get it, seeing those numbers is rough. But those 47 people with 8 years experience might want way more money than you do, or they might be from some big company with a totally different way of doing things. A warehouse manager who only ran a crew of 50 with fancy computer systems might not work as clean in a smaller shop where you gotta fix the forklift yourself. Your Target experience plus that Groupon cert shows you're willing to learn on the cheap, which is worth something to the right boss. Don't talk yourself out of it before they do.
