Update: my resume got auto-rejected by 14 online portals because of one hidden setting
I spent 3 weeks applying to jobs through those big company portals and got zero callbacks, so I finally paid a guy on Fiverr $25 to look at my file and he showed me the PDF had a font that their system couldn't read, meaning my whole work history came through as blank boxes. I switched to a plain Word doc and got 2 interviews in the same week. How do you all check that a portal is actually reading your resume before you hit submit?
