Pro tip: Spent 6 months self-teaching SQL and it finally paid off at work

I used to get stuck on basic Excel reports, but after 6 months of doing mini projects with a free dataset from Kaggle, I automated a whole monthly report for my boss last week. Anyone else find a skill that silently changed how your coworkers see you?

Excel macros did that for me. Spent a week recording and tweaking one to clean up raw data. Now used by three different teams. Makes you look like some kind of wizard.
