I hit 50 job applications sent with zero callbacks and it finally clicked

I was tracking my search in a spreadsheet after my teaching contract ended, and the number just kept climbing with no interviews. It mattered because I realized my generic resume wasn't getting past the automated filters at all. Has anyone else found a specific trick that finally got their application noticed by a real person?
