Dropped $500 on a resume writing service, felt like a scam

Got a generic, fluffed-up document that didn't sound like me at all. Anyone have a better method for getting a solid resume done?

Heard a podcast say to just list your actual wins with numbers. Like "saved 20 hours a week by fixing a process." That real stuff cuts through the fluff.

Yeah @james672, I cut our team's report time from three hours to twenty minutes doing exactly that.

But sometimes the fluff is what gets people to listen.

Oh man, river_hart18 has a point. But if you need three hours of fluff to get someone to listen, maybe they're just not that into your report.
