Dropped $400 on a resume writer and honestly it helped, but not how I expected
I was stuck applying to warehouse supervisor jobs in Columbus for about 7 months with zero callbacks and finally caved and paid a guy $400 to redo my resume. The new doc did not magically get me hired, but it did get me 3 interviews in 2 weeks, which was more than I had gotten the whole time before. What burned me is I paid extra for the cover letter package and every single one came back sounding like a robot wrote it, so I ended up rewriting those myself anyway. My question is did anyone else feel like the resume part was worth it but the add ons were a total waste?
