Switched from a tarp to a fitted cover for my Accord and the rust on the trunk lid finally quit spreading in Sacramento
The tarp trapped water underneath every time it rained, but the breathable cover I grabbed for $60 at the swap meet actually lets moisture escape. Anyone else had a cheap cover hold up more than a season, or am I going to be replacing this thing by winter?

Doubt the swap meet cover makes it past summer honestly. Cheap fabric breaks down fast in that Sacramento sun, so keep an eye on the seams. Sometimes the $60 ones surprise you though, guess it depends on the batch.
