Spent a whole weekend trying to get a new tent stake to work right
Bought a set of those V-shaped aluminum stakes for a trip to Joshua Tree last month. The first one bent when I hit a rock, and I spent maybe 3 hours over two days trying to hammer them in different soil types... it was a mess. Ended up just going back to my old heavy steel ones for that trip. Anyone have a good stake for really hard, rocky ground that won't fold on you?

Spent maybe 3 hours over two days" sounds like a great start to a relaxing camping trip.
