Shoutout to my $8 camp stove scale that saved me 2 lbs of fuel

I finally weighed my fuel canisters before a 5 day trip last month and found a half full 8 oz can still had 5 oz of propane left. That extra weight adds up when you are hiking 10 miles. I used a tiny digital scale I got off Amazon for $8 and it paid off fast. Now I pack only the fuel I need instead of guessing. Has anyone else used a scale to cut pack weight like this?

Yo that "extra weight adds up when you are hiking 10 miles" part hit me hard because yeah it really does. I used to just grab a full canister without thinking and lug it around half empty for days. Now I'm weighing everything before every trip and sometimes I only need like a quarter of a can for a weekend. It's wild how much difference an $8 scale makes when you stop guessing.

Right? My scale's basically the judge and jury for every gas can that comes through my door now. "You're half empty? Bench.
