My old coleman stove finally gave out after 15 years

I took my old Coleman two burner stove on a trip up to Lake Tahoe last weekend and it just wouldn't light no matter what I did. Cleaned the jets, replaced the fuel bottle, still nothing. That thing survived a dozen rainy trips and being dropped off a tailgate once. Anybody have a good modern replacement that doesn't break after two seasons?

Oh man, I feel your pain. I had a similar thing happen with my old coleman, it just stopped working after like a decade. I ended up getting a Camp Chef Everest and honestly it's been a champ for me. It's got a really good wind guard so it works great even on breezy days up in the mountains. The two burners are strong enough to boil water fast and it folds up pretty small too.

That's interesting how we all have that one piece of gear that just works until it doesn't. It's kinda like how you trust a good pair of hiking boots for years and then suddenly they're done. The Camp Chef sounds like a solid replacement though, especially with that wind guard. Makes me wonder how many other people have that same story about their old stove just giving up at the worst possible moment. What made you go with the Everest over some of the other options out there?

Did you read that article on Outdoor Gear Lab about the Everest? They tested it against like 12 other stoves and said the wind protection was way better than most, which honestly sold me on it.
