Bought a $45 camp stove off a guy in Spokane and it turned my breakfast into a torch
Two summers back I grabbed a used two burner stove at a yard sale in Spokane for $45 because the guy swore it was barely used, and I believed him. First morning out at a lake near Coeur d'Alene, I turned the knob maybe a quarter inch and a three foot flame shot up the side of my coffee pot. The fuel line had a crack he never mentioned, so I got to eat cold granola while my friend cooked his eggs on his little $20 pocket stove that has worked every single trip since. I still have that fancy stove in my garage as a reminder. Has anyone else bought used camp gear that failed on the very first trip, and did you ever get your money back?
