After a decade of cheap tents, I finally bought a MSR last spring and the difference in setup time was like night and day.
My old Coleman took 20 minutes with bending poles and fighting rainflies, but this one popped up in under 5 minutes flat on a windy ridge near Boone last October; anyone else notice how much better the newer designs are or am I just late to the party?

That Boone ridge wind is no joke, that's where you really see the difference.

Respectfully, I see it a bit different. The wind at Boone ridge is definitely strong, but the real test is how it hits in the flats just south of there where the terrain funnels everything. That spot can mess with your shot more than the ridge itself if you ask me. What kind of crosswind do you usually see up there?
