Was team heli only for shutter repairs, but a used desoldering station changed my mind

Finally broke down and grabbed a Hakko 808 for $150 off ebay last week after struggling with a sticky Copal shutter. Now I can swap out those tiny ribbon cables in 5 minutes instead of 20, anyone else find a good used station online?

Fair enough, but I'm still team manual pump for those delicate jobs (call me old school). The suction on those powered ones feels way too aggressive for tiny solder joints.

...and that reminds me, a buddy of mine wrecked a whole prototype once cause his powered pump was set too high. Just sucked the pad right off the board, foam and all. He was so mad he threw the thing in the trash and bought three manual pumps just to be safe. I still think there's a middle ground though, like those adjustable power ones where you can dial it down. But yeah, for tiny stuff I'd rather just do it by hand too.
