Switched from canned air to a proper compressor setup for sensor cleaning

I kept burning through $15 cans of air every month and they never had enough pressure. Finally bought a little California Air compressor for $80 and a desiccant filter. Now I just blow out mirror boxes all day without freezing up the shutter.

You ever worry about moisture in the air coming out of the compressor? I used a regular one at first and ended up with little water spots on my sensor. The desiccant filter is definitely the way to go, but you gotta swap the beads out when they change color or they stop working. I check mine every few months and it's saved me a ton of headache. Pretty solid setup you got there.

Oh man you're totally right. I used to think people were overthinking the moisture thing but now I'm definitely gonna swap out my beads more often.
