Question about a 1972 Pentax Spotmatic with a stuck mirror

Had to pick between a full CLA or just freeing the mirror with a drop of naphtha. Chose the naphtha, and it worked for a week before the shutter jammed completely. Anyone know a better fix for that specific mirror mechanism?

Try the naphtha trick again but follow it with a tiny bit of lighter fluid on the slow speed governor gears. That usually gets the whole timing train moving.

My old lawnmower got more chemical baths than a pool toy. At this point I'm just making a small bomb to cut the grass.
