My friend did the same thing with his lens filters until he saw rowan666's post. He was using his shirt for years before getting proper cloths.

My buddy had the same exact realization with his old Pentax. He was using a tiny brush for the mirror, which honestly just moved the dust around. Seeing the inside of that F3 is what finally convinced him to get a proper rocket blower.

Man, it's wild how often we stick with a bad method just because it's the one we know. You see it with everything from cleaning cameras to fixing a squeaky door.
