Update: I was stripping coax with the wrong tool for 2 years

So I was on a job in Akron doing 6 drops and my stripper kept nicking the shield, and the new guy on my crew asked why I wasn't using the 2 blade one. Turns out I'd been using a single blade stripper set too deep this entire time and just fighting it. He handed me his and the first cable came out clean in like 3 seconds. I sat there feeling pretty dumb for 2 years of bad crimps. What other tool am I using wrong that I don't even know about?
