Switched to a toner with a probe attachment 2 years back and now I actually find bad lines in under 5 minutes

I used to just rely on my eyes and a basic continuity tester for troubleshooting, wasted hours. Got a Klein VDV500-820 kit after a coworker showed me his and it made me feel stupid for waiting so long. Any of you guys use a tone and probe kit regularly or still working the old way?

Did the Fluke kit end up paying for itself within a month?

Got the Fluke Networks kit two years ago. Night and day difference. Used to spend 20 minutes chasing a bad pair now it's under five easy.
