Shoutout to the guy who told me to try compression fittings instead of crimp connectors
Was doing a new build in a basement last week and kept messing up my crimps on some RG6. Old timer on site handed me a bag of compression fittings and said just try it man. Never going back. Way less signal loss and my terminations actually look clean now lol. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference?

Oh man, compression fittings are a total game changer. I switched a few years back after fighting with crimps on some old coax and honestly the consistency is night and day. My signal loss dropped noticeably too, especially on longer runs where every little bit counts. Plus not having to worry about a loose crimp coming back to bite you later is worth the extra couple cents per fitting, your mileage may vary but I'd never go back.

Old timer saved you from becoming a professional cable mangler, cheers to that.
