Punched down my first 40 drops with a Klein punch tool and a cheap one from the supply house, the cheap one slipped on 12 of them

Those cheap punches are usually soft metal so the tip mushrooms and walks off center after a few hits. Grab a Greenlee or Klein replacement tip, a shot of cutting oil on the tip, and dead center punch marks each time, mine quit slipping after that.
