Pro tip: stop stripping coax cables with your teeth

I keep seeing guys on jobs in Denver chewing through the outer jacket on RG6 like it's a bag of chips. It leaves jagged cuts and can nick the braid every time, which causes signal loss down the line. Just grab a $8 Klein coax stripper and do it clean. Has anyone else noticed this getting worse with the new guys coming in?

Does anyone actually wash their hands before handling the coax after lunch?

Yeah I used to be pretty lax about it honestly. Figured a little dirt or grease from lunch wasn't gonna hurt the coax. But @leo238, after seeing a few bad connections and signal drops from oily fingerprints on the dielectric, I changed my tune real quick. Now I make it a point to wash up before touching any cable if I've been eating. Even a quick rinse and dry with a clean rag makes a difference. It's one of those little things that adds up when you're trying to avoid callbacks.
