My old boss said never trust the signal meter on a ladder, he was dead wrong
Back in 2019 I was doing a 4-tap install in a 3 story apartment building in Phoenix and my boss told me to always run back to the van for the big meter instead of trusting the handheld. I ignored him one day after a 90 minute callback and used the handheld right at the tap, found a loose connector in 5 minutes. Anybody else got a 'rule' from an old timer that just wasted your time?
