Just realized the panel in that new build off Route 9 was labeled in pencil
Was running coax in a new subdivision near Poughkeepsie last week and popped the cover on the panel to find every breaker marked in pencil, and not even good pencil, half of it smudged to nothing. Spent 20 minutes ringing out circuits with my toner just to find the one I needed because the label said "lights" and there are 14 circuits that could be lights. Homeowner said the electrician finished up back in March and never came back to do a real label. I got it sorted and wrote everything out in Sharpie on my own tape, but it cost me an extra half hour on a job that was already running long. Any of you keep a label maker in the van for stuff like this, or do you just carry a fat marker and call it good?
