I finally tried a different technique on a rough-in job in Phoenix

Last month I was doing a rough-in at this big new build out in Queen Creek. The foreman comes up and watches me for a minute and says I'm wasting time by not using a certain staple pattern. I was skeptical but tried it his way on the next room. Cut about 20 minutes off my time per floor. Has anyone else picked up a trick like that from watching someone else work?

Foreman probably gets a kick out of showing new guys how it's done. Not exactly a game changer though.

Man, it's just a different staple pattern, not exactly rocket science. You probably saved like 20 minutes, big deal.
