Heard a customer call our work 'just plugging in a box' yesterday
It was a 3 hour job fixing a rat's nest of old coax behind their drywall. Makes you wonder if people get how much actual trade skill this is, or do they all think it's that simple?

So they think it's just that easy?

My cousin tried to rewire a lamp once and nearly set his curtains on fire. People watch these home improvement shows and think they can do everything themselves without any practice. There is a reason electricians spend years learning their trade. You don't just pick up a screwdriver and suddenly know what you are doing.

Used to think that way myself until I helped my buddy rewire his basement. It's a real skill.
