Had my worst day in 8 years on Tuesday. 3 homes in a row had dead drops with rotten ends.
First house had a mouse chewed line in the crawlspace that tested fine until i pulled on it. Second house the previous installer left a staple knick that finally gave out. Third house the connector literally fell off when i unscrewed the wall plate. I spent 2 hours doing re-runs on what should have been a quick day. Anyone else notice a spike in bad terminations from old builds lately?

Man, those connectors pulling off clean like that usually means they just cranked it on drywall without a bracket. Always gotta check behind the plate before you trust it lol.
