Appreciation post: the old 'bend and wiggle' trick still saves me time

Honestly, I was out on a job near Portland last week running coax through a tight attic. The connector kept snagging on a joist, so I tried bending the cable slightly and wiggling it past like my old boss taught me back in 2003. It worked like a charm and saved me from drilling another hole. Has anyone else gone back to those simple moves instead of using all the new tools?

Oh man, I had the exact same thing happen last week with an old RG6 line and it worked perfectly.

Old RG6 usually works fine but coax quality can vary a lot.
