Spent 2 hours chasing one loose HDMI cable behind my dresser, and I finally won
My TV kept flickering every time someone walked past it, so I figured one of the cables back there was the problem. I pulled the dresser out, unplugged everything, and spent 2 hours testing each HDMI one by one with a flashlight in my teeth like an idiot. Turns out the cheap 6 foot cable from the dollar bin was the bad one, and swapping it for a $9 one I already had in a drawer made the flicker stop. I also wrapped the rest with velcro strips from Harbor Freight so nothing slides around anymore. Anyone else got a cable that wasted way more of your night than it should have?
