Warning: saw a shift in my plywood edges after switching to a new supplier

I changed to a cheaper plywood supplier in Portland 8 months ago, and now my prefinished edges are peeling on 4 jobs. Has anyone else dealt with poor adhesion from a different source?

That sucks, cheap plywood always bites you somehow lol.

Yeah, "bites you somehow" is the perfect way to put it. I was reading about how cheap plywood often has voids or gaps inside the inner layers, so screws just spin in place instead of grabbing. Makes a cheap DIY project turn into a frustrating mess real quick.
