The Tuesday that turned into a 14 hour nightmare in my shop
Got a rush job for a restaurant remodel in Portland last week, thought I'd knock it out in a day. Then the plywood I ordered showed up with chunks missing on every sheet, so I spent half the afternoon re-cutting and adjusting my layout. Have you ever had a supplier send bad material and just expect you to deal with it?
Sucks when you plan your whole day around materials and they show up garbage. That re-cutting alone would’ve made me want to toss the whole load back on their truck. I’ve had suppliers send warped trim before and act like it was no big deal, so I feel your pain on that. Hope you at least got some kind of credit or replacement out of them, because that time is gone either way. Hang in there, man, some days just test you for no good reason.
