Spent a week on a maple vanity with a router jig I built myself.

It was okay, but the drawer fronts had a tiny bit of wobble in the fit. For the next one, I just used the new Incra template system I got. The difference was night and day, everything locked in perfectly square on the first try. It saved me at least two hours of fussing. Anyone have a favorite jig system for small batch work?

It's the same with anything that needs to fit together. A door that sticks, a phone case with a gap. That small imperfection is all you notice every single time you use it. Getting it right is just satisfying.

Totally get where Ivan is coming from. Used to brush off little things like that too. But man, that tiny wobble on a table or a sticky drawer becomes the main thing you see. It just grates on you over time. Fixing it feels so much better than you'd ever expect. Now I notice every small flaw and have to deal with it right away.

Is a tiny wobble really that big of a deal?
