Saw a kitchen remodel in a Nashville Airbnb that made me laugh

I stayed there last weekend and the owners clearly tried to do the cabinets themselves. The drawer fronts were all different heights by like a quarter inch, and the pulls were a mix of three styles. The best part was they used regular wood glue on the mitered corners of the face frame, no biscuits or anything. Has anyone else seen a DIY job that just made you shake your head?

My uncle's "floating" shelf is still leaning against the wall.

Yeah, that sounds about right. My dad's been "fixing" the same wobbly table leg for three years now.

It's the permanent temporary fix. My mom's kitchen drawer has been jammed since 2018. She just works around it now. Some projects just become part of the house forever. You learn to live with the wobble.
